About
Many of us balance work with caring responsibilities, often in ways that are not always visible. The Staff Counselling Centre invites you to join this session, offering a space to reflect on the psychological impact of caring and how to sustain wellbeing alongside it.
In this session we will:
- Explore the often hidden nature of caring roles
- Reflect on the emotional and psychological impact of caring on wellbeing
- Introduce practical ideas for sustainable caring (e.g. boundaries, self-care, support)
There will be opportunities for reflection and an optional guided activity. The session is open to any member of staff with caring responsibilities, or an interest in supporting carers.
This session in Carers week UK will serve as a precursor to an in‑person workshop to be hosted by USCC later this year.
The link for this session will be available on our website nearer the time.
